Thanks for stating your state of affairs, my name is Victor, a Skype and Microsoft Office Independent Adviser and also a consumer of these products. I will be helping you today.

Since MS Project was designed and optimized specifically for the Windows operating system, MS Project does not piece of work on Mac. The reason being is that MS Project and Mac cannot talk to each other and it wasn't designed for those computers. If people some how manged to get in work, information technology wouldn't run properly and you may not be able to utilize information technology to its full extent since information technology was made for Windows and not Mac. I am sorry for the inconvenience this may crusade.

I've been using Windows and Project on my iMac for many years and at that place are no performance issues. All yous demand is a virtual machine which yous can become with Parallels, VMware fusion, Boot Camp and others. I utilize Parallels.

In all cases you demand to have a valid Windows Bone loaded on the virtual automobile earlier yous can load Projection.

Yes, you have to have buy and install Windows equally well as Projection. You can of course become Mac versions of Office just you might also desire to get the Windows version if y'all need/desire to interface Project with other Role apps, such every bit Excel. I do a off-white amount of Projection/Excel work on Windows with VBA. It may be possible to interface Project on the Windows surroundings with Excel on the Mac environment but I've never tried.
